मां आदिशक्ति को समर्पित यह पहला मंदिर हरिद्वार के पास गांव में स्थित है। माना जाता है इस मंदिर में भक्तों की सभी मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण होती है, जिस कारण यह मंदिर मनसा देवी के नाम से पहचाना जाने लगा। मंदिर के बारे में एक किवदंती यह बताई जाती है की यह देवी एक बार हमीरवासिया परिवार के मुखिया सेठ सूरजमलजी के सपने में प्रकट हुई, और उनसे मंदिर के निर्माण के लिए कहा। मनसा देवी मंदिर में मौजूद के पेड़ पर बहुत से लोग मन्नत का धागा बांधते है और मन्नत पूरी होने के बाद यहां आकर फिर से यह धागा खोल देते है।

देवी दुर्गा के शक्तिपीठों में से एक मां कामाख्या का यह मंदिर असम के गुवाहाटी शहर में स्थित है। यह मंदिर वह स्थान है, जहां माता सती के शरीर का एक भाग गिरा था। माता के माहवारी के दिनों में इस मंदिर में उत्सव मनाया जाता है। माना जाता है की इन तीन दिनों में जब मंदिर के पट बंद होते है तो यहां एक सफ़ेद रंग का वस्त्र बिछाया जाता है, जो मंदिर के कपाट खुलने के बाद लाल हो जाता है। दुर्गा पूजा और अंबुबाची मेले के लिए यह मंदिर खास तौर पर प्रसिद्ध है।

अम्बा माता मंदिर, गुजरात
अम्बा माता मंदिर का यह मंदिर गुजरात के जूनागढ़ में स्थित है। मंदिर की मुख्य विशेषता पहाड़ पर स्थित अम्बा माता का मंदिर है, जो देवी माँ के एक अवतार को समर्पित है। भारत के प्रमुख शक्तिपीठों में से एक मां दुर्गा का यह मंदिर गुजरात के लोकप्रिय मंदिरों में से एक है। इस जगह में माता सती का हृदय गिर था, जिसके बाद एक शक्तिपीठ के रूप में इस मंदिर की स्थापना की गई।

करणी माता मंदिर, राजस्थान
राजस्थान के बीकानेर शहर में स्थित करणी माता का यह मंदिर देवी दुर्गा को समर्पित है। करणी माता मंदिर की अनूठी विशेषता, यहां पर मौजूद चूहों की आबादी है। ऐसा माना जाता है की इस मंदिर में हज़ारों की संख्या में चूहे पाएं जाते है। मंदिर का एक अन्य आकर्षण इसके विशाल चांदी के द्वार और संगमरमर की नक्काशी है जो महाराजा गंगा सिंह द्वारा दान की गई थी। मंदिर में नवरात्रि उत्सव के समय भारी भीड़ देखने को मिलती है।

दक्षिणेश्वर काली मंदिर, कोलकाता
दक्षिणेश्वर काली मंदिर कोलकत्ता के हुगली नदी तटके दूसरी ओर स्थित है। माना जाता है की इस मंदिर रामकृष्ण परमहंस ने मां दुर्गा के स्वरुप की आराधना की थी। कहा जाता है कि इस मंदिर का निर्माण रानी रश्मोनी ने वर्ष 1847 में करवाया था। मंदिर में एक विशाल प्रांगण है और यह 12 अन्य मंदिरों से घिरा हुआ है जो भगवान शिव को समर्पित हैं।

It is believed that during these three days, when the doors of the temple are closed, a white colored cloth is spread here, which turns red after the doors of the temple are opened. This temple of Amba Mata Temple is located in Junagadh, Gujarat. The main feature of the temple is the temple of Amba Mata situated on the mountain, which is dedicated to an incarnation of the Mother Goddess. One of the major Shaktipeeths of India, this temple of Maa Durga is one of the popular temples of Gujarat. Karni Mata Temple, Rajasthan
This temple of Karni Mata located in Bikaner city of Rajasthan is dedicated to Goddess Durga. The unique feature of Karni Mata Temple is the population of rats present here. It is believed that thousands of rats are found in this temple. Another attraction of the temple is its huge silver gate and marble carvings which were donated by Maharaja Ganga Singh. A huge crowd is seen in the temple during Navratri festival.

Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Kolkata
Dakshineswar Kali Temple is situated on the other side of the Hooghly river bank of Kolkata. It is believed that Ramakrishna Paramhans worshiped the form of Maa Durga in this temple. It is said that this temple was built by Rani Rashmoni in the year 1847. The temple has a huge courtyard and is surrounded by 12 other temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.
