महाशिवरात्रि पूजा विधि और शुभ मुहूर्त
शिव साधना का प्रमुख पर्व महाशिवरात्रि हर साल फाल्गुन माह के कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्दशी तिथि को मनाया जाता है. धार्मिक मान्यता है कि इसी दिन भगवान भोलेभंडारी और देवी पार्वती का विवाह संपन्न हुआ था. इसी दिन शिव ने वैरागी जीवन त्यागकर राजा हिमांचल और रानी मैना देवी की बेटी माता पार्वती को अपनी जीवन संगिनी बनाया था. इस साल महाशिवरात्रि की डेट को लेकर संशय की स्थिति है. आइए जानते हैं इस बार महाशिवरात्रि का व्रत किस दिन रखा जाएगा और शंकर-पार्वती की पूजा का मुहूर्त क्या है.

18 या 19 फरवरी महाशिवरात्रि कब ?
फाल्गुन माह के कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्दशी तिथि 18 फरवरी 2023 को रात 08 बजकर 02 पर शुरू हो रही है और अगले दिन 19 फरवरी 2023 को शाम 04 बजकर 18 मिनट पर समाप्त होगी.
महाशिवरात्रि की पूजा रात्रि के चार प्रहर में करने का विधान है. इस समय शिव-पार्वती की पूजा की जाती है. ऐसे में शिवरात्रि का व्रत और पूजन 18 फरवरी 2023 को ही किया जाएगा. चूंकि चतुर्दशी तिथि 19 फरवरी 2023 को शाम को समाप्त हो रही है ऐसे में इस दिन सूर्योदय से सूर्यास्त तक शिव साधना करना भी उत्तम होगा.

महाशिवरात्रि व्रत महत्व
महाशिवरात्रि का पर्व शिवभक्तों के लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण माना गया है. वैसे तो हर माह कृष्ण चतुर्दशी तिथि पर मासिक शिवरात्रि मनाई जाती है लेकिन महाशिवरात्रि का दिन शिव शंभू और माता पार्वती की पूजा करने वालों का वैवाहिक जीवन कष्ट मुक्त रहता है. सुयोग्य वर प्राप्ति की कामना के लिए महाशिवरात्रि व्रत उत्तम माना गया है.
जिस प्रकार देवी पार्वती ने सालों शिव को अपने पति के रूप में पाने के लिए तपस्या की थी, उसी प्रकार कहते हैं कि महाशिवरात्रि के व्रत प्रभाव से शिव समान जीवनसाथी पाने की इच्छा पूरी होती है. वहीं विवाहित महिलाओं को अखंड सौभाग्यवती रहने का वरदान मिलता है. मान्यता है कि इसी दिन विश्व प्रसिद्धि 12 ज्योतिर्लिगं के रूप में शिव जी प्रकट हुए थे. जो मासिक शिवरात्रि व्रत शुरू करना चाहते हैं उन्हें इस दिन से व्रत का संकल्प लेना चाहिए.
महाशिवरात्रि की पूजा विधि
महाशिवरात्रि पर पूजा करने के लिए सबसे पहले भगवान शंकर को पंचामृत से स्नान कराएं।
साथ ही केसर के 8 लोटे जल चढ़ाएं और पूरी रात्रि का दीपक जलाएं। इसके अलावा चंदन का तिलक लगाएं।
बेलपत्र, भांग, धतूरा भोलेनाथ का सबसे पसंदीदा चढ़ावा है।
इसलिए तीन बेलपत्र, भांग, धतूरा, जायफल, कमल गट्टे, फल, मिष्ठान, मीठा पान, इत्र व दक्षिणा चढ़ाएं।
सबसे बाद में केसर युक्त खीर का भोग लगा कर सबको प्रसाद बांटें।
महाशिवरात्रि व्रत विधि
महाशिवरात्रि के दिन प्रातः काल उठकर स्नान आदि करके पूरी श्रद्धा के साथ भगवान शंकर के आगे व्रत रखने का संकल्प लें।
संकल्प के दौरान उपवास की अवधि पूरा करने के लिए भगवान शिव का आशीर्वाद लें।
इसके अलावा आप व्रत किस तरह से रखेंगे यानी कि फलाहार या फिर निर्जला ये भी संकल्प लें।
महाशिवरात्रि 2023 व्रत पारण मुहूर्त
महाशिवरात्रि का व्रत रखने वाले जातक अगले दिन 19 फरवरी को पारण कर सकते हैं। महाशिवरात्रि व्रत पारण का शुभ समय 19 फरवरी की सुबह 06 बजकर 57 मिनट से दोपहर 3 बजकर 33 मिनट तक है।

18 or 19 February when Mahashivaratri?
The Chaturdashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Phalgun month is starting on 18 February 2023 at 08:02 PM and will end the next day on 19 February 2023 at 04:18 PM.
There is a law to worship Mahashivratri in the four hours of the night. Shiva-Parvati is worshiped at this time. In such a situation, Shivratri fasting and worship will be done on February 18, 2023 only. Since Chaturdashi Tithi is ending on February 19, 2023 in the evening, it would be best to do Shiva Sadhana on this day from sunrise to sunset.

Importance of mahashivratri fast
The festival of Mahashivaratri is considered very important for the devotees of Shiva. Although monthly Shivratri is celebrated every month on the date of Krishna Chaturdashi, but on the day of Mahashivaratri, the married life of those who worship Shiva Shambhu and Mother Parvati remains trouble free. Mahashivaratri fast is considered best for wishing to get a suitable groom.
Just as Goddess Parvati did penance for years to get Shiva as her husband, in the same way it is said that with the effect of fasting on Mahashivratri, the wish of getting a life partner like Shiva is fulfilled. Worship method of Mahashivratri
To worship on Mahashivaratri, first bathe Lord Shankar with Panchamrit.
Also offer 8 pots of saffron water and light a lamp for the whole night. Apart from this, apply sandalwood tilak.
Belpatra, Bhang, Dhatura are the most favorite offerings of Bholenath.
That's why offer three belpatra, cannabis, dhatura, nutmeg, lotus gatta, fruits, sweets, sweet paan, perfume and dakshina.
After all, distribute prasad to everyone by offering kheer containing saffron.
Mahashivratri fasting method
On the day of Mahashivratri, wake up early in the morning, take a bath, etc. and take a pledge to fast in front of Lord Shankar with full devotion.
Seek the blessings of Lord Shiva to complete the fasting period during Sankalp.
