महावीर मंदिर पटना
स्थान: पटना, बिहार
इतिहास: एक तपस्वी स्वामी बालानंद ने 1730 में इस मंदिर का निर्माण किया था। 1947 में भारत के विभाजन के दौरान कई शरणार्थी पटना आए थे, उस समय इस मंदिर को प्रसिद्धि मिली। यहां एक कंक्रीट का घर बनाया गया था, जिसे 1987 में संगमरमर के मंदिर से बदल दिया गया था।

विशेष लक्षण: मंदिर के तीन स्तर हैं:
भूतल - इसमें भगवान हनुमान की मूर्तियाँ हैं। एक मूर्ति भक्तों की मनोकामना पूरी करती है और दूसरी उनके पापों को शुद्ध करती है। यहां भगवान शिव का पूजा स्थल भी है।
पहली मंजिल - इसमें भगवान राम, भगवान कृष्ण, भगवान शिव, देवी पार्वती और नंदी की मूर्तियां हैं। इसमें रामसेतु शिला भी है, जिसके बारे में माना जाता है कि यह एक ऐसा पत्थर है जो सीता को बचाने के लिए भगवान राम को लंका पार करने में मदद करने के लिए भारत से बनाए गए पुल का हिस्सा था।
दूसरी मंजिल - धार्मिक समारोहों के लिए उपयोग की जाती है

रोचक तथ्य:
यह जम्मू और कश्मीर में वैष्णो देवी के बाद उत्तर भारत में दूसरा सबसे अधिक देखा जाने वाला धार्मिक मंदिर है।
हर साल रामनवमी के दौरान इस मंदिर में दर्शन के लिए हजारों भक्तों की कतार लगी रहती है।
इसे मनोकामना मंदिर के रूप में जाना जाता है, क्योंकि ऐसा माना जाता है कि शुद्ध मन से की गई प्रार्थना पूरी होती है।

History: Swami Balanand, an ascetic, built this temple in 1730. During the partition of India in 1947, many refugees came to Patna, at which time this temple gained prominence. A concrete house was built here, which was replaced by a marble temple in 1987.

Special features: The temple has three levels:
Ground floor - It has the idols of Lord Hanuman. One idol fulfills the wishes of devotees and another purifies their sins. There is also a place of worship for Lord Shiva here.
The first floor – It houses the idols of Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, and Nandi. It also has the Ramsetu Shila, a stone that is believed to have been part of the bridge built from India to help Lord Rama cross over to Lanka to rescue Sita.
The second floor - Used for religious ceremonies

Interesting facts:
It is the second most-visited religious shrine in North India after Vaishno Devi in Jammu and Kashmir.
Every year, during Ram Navami, thousands of devotees queue up to visit this temple.
It is known as Manokamna Temple, as it is believed that prayers offered with a pure heart will be fulfilled.
