माता यशोदा को श्रीकृष्ण के मुँह में ब्रह्मांड कैसे दिखाई दिया?
एक दिन की बात है, भगवान श्री कृष्ण घर के बाहर मिट्टी के आंगन में खेल रहे थे। उसी समय उसके बड़े भाई दाऊ वहां आए और देखा कि कन्हैया मिट्टी खा रहे हैं। दाऊ उनकी शिकायत लेकर मां यशोदा के पास पहुंचे। दाऊ ने कहा “ मां, तुम्हारा प्यारा लाला आंगन में मिट्टी खा रहा है।”

यह सुनते ही यशोदा मां सीधे बाल गोपाल के पास पहुंची और पूछा “लाला, तुमने मिट्टी खाई है।” कान्हा बोले – “नहीं, मां मैंने मिट्टी नहीं खाई।” मां यशोदा को कान्हा की बात पर विश्वास नहीं हुआ और कहा “कान्हा, मुंह खोलकर दिखाओ कि तुमने मिट्टी नहीं खाई है।” मां यशोदा की बात सुनकर कान्हा ने जैसे ही मुंह खोला, मैया यशोदा चौंक गईं।

माता को कान्हा के मुंह में मिट्टी कहीं नहीं नजर आई, बल्कि पूरा का पूरा ब्रह्मांड नजर आ रहा था। मां यशोदा को अपनी आंखों पर विश्वास नहीं हो रहा था। अपने छोटे से कन्हैया के मुंह में उन्हें सारी सृष्टि और जगत के समस्त प्राणी नजर आ रहे थे। मां यशोदा ये नजारा ज्यादा देर तक नहीं देख सकीं और बेहोश हो गईं।

जब मां यशोदा की आंखें खुलीं, तो उनके मन में बाल कृष्ण के लिए प्यार जाग रहा था। उन्होंने श्री कृष्ण को गले से लगा लिया और उनकी आंखें आंसुओं से भर गई। मां यशोदा को यकीन हो गया था कि कान्हा कोई साधारण बालक नहीं है, बल्कि वो स्वयं सृष्टि के स्वामी और परमात्मा के अवतार हैं।
