रामनवमी क्यों मनाते हैं ?
हिंदू धर्म ग्रंथों के अनुसार भगवान राम और उनके भाईयों के जन्म को लेकर एक पौराणिक कथा है। राजा दशरथ के अनुसार तीनों रानियों कौशल्या, सुमित्रा और कैकयी में से तीनों को जब पुत्र की प्राप्ति नहीं हुई थी तो राजा दशरथ ने पुत्रेष्टि यज्ञ करवाया। प्रसाद में यज्ञ से निकली खीर को तीनों रानियों को खिला दिया गया था फिर कुछ समय बाद राजा दशरथ के घर में खुशखबरी सुनने को मिली यानी तीनों रानियों ने गर्भधारण किया है।
