शिवलिंग का आकार ऐसा क्यों है
शिवलिंग के अंडाकार आकार को लेकर दो तरह की बातें प्रचलित हैं। एक वैज्ञानिक आधार है और दूसरा आध्यात्मिक आधार है। हम दोनों इसलिए बता रहे हैं क्योंकि कुछ लोग विज्ञान पर विश्वास करते हैं और कुछ लोग भगवान की सत्ता पर विश्वास करते हैं। तो चलिए दोनों जान लीजिए।

आध्यात्मिक दृष्टि से ऐसा माना जाता है कि ब्रह्मांड का निर्माण शिव ने ही किया था। यानी शिव ही वह बीज हैं जिससे पूरा संसार बना है। इसलिए इसका आकार अंडे जैसा है। किसी भी अंडे से ही कोई जीव निकलता है। तो जब सारा संसार ही इस अंडे से निकला है तो फिर इसे शिवलिंग नाम दे दिया गया।

वैज्ञानिक दृष्टि से अगर बात करें तो बिग बैंग थिअरी ( big bang theory shivling par) में कहा गया है कि ब्रह्मांड का निर्माण अंडे जैसे एक कण से हुआ है। बाद में शिवलिंग के इस आकार को इसी अंड के आकार से जोड़कर आध्यात्मिक लोगों ने माना कि इसी शिवलिंग से ही इस संसार का निर्माण हुआ है।

From a spiritual point of view, it is believed that the universe was created by Shiva. Means Shiva is the seed from which the whole world was created. That's why its shape is like an egg. Any organism comes out of any egg. So when the whole world came out of this egg, then it was named Shivling.
