श्री राम की मृत्यु का रहस्य
श्री राम को विष्णु जी के सातवें अवतार के रूप में पूजा जाता है और पुराणों व शास्त्रों में भी उनकी महिमा का बखान होता है। त्रेता युग के पालनहारे प्रभु श्री राम को भक्त आज भी पूरे श्रद्धा भाव से पूजते हैं और उनकी भक्ति में सराबोर हो जाते हैं।

कैसे हुई प्रभु श्री राम की मृत्यु
भगवान श्री राम ने धरती पर 1000 वर्षों से भी ज्यादा समय तक शासन किया। अपने इस लंबे शासकाल में भगवान राम ने कई ऐसे काम किए जिन्होंने हिंदू धर्म को एक गौरवमयी इतिहास प्रदान किया। पंडित प्रशांत मिश्रा जी बताते हैं कि पद्मपुराण के अनुसार भगवान राम जब अपना अवतारकाल समाप्त करके एक ऋषि का रूप धारण करके आये तब काल यानी यमराज भी एक ऋषि के रूप में आए और उन्होंने राम जी से बात करने का आग्रह किया। तब श्री राम ने काल से कहा किकोई हमारे बीच न आए।

उस समय प्रभु श्री राम ने भ्राता लक्ष्मण से कहा कि वो एकांत चाहते हैं और काल से वार्तालाप करना चाहते हैं, इसलिए आप दरवाज़े पर खड़े हो जाएं जिससे कोई भीतर प्रवेश न कर सके। इतनी देर में ऋषि दुर्वाशा वहां आ गए और राम जी से मिलने का आग्रह करने लगे। लक्ष्मण जी के मना करने पर भी ऋषि नहीं माने और क्रोधित होकर बात करने लगे। लक्ष्मण जी दुर्वाशा के क्रोध से बचने के लिए कमरे में प्रवेश कर गए जहां श्री राम वार्तालाप कर रहे थे। ये देखकर श्री राम भी लक्ष्मण पर कुपित हुए और उन्हें मृत्यु दंड न देकर देश निकाला दे दिया। लक्ष्मण जी के लिए वह भी मृत्यु सामान ही था,इसलिए वो सरयू नदी में समा गए और शेषनाग का रूप धारण कर लिया। भाई की जलसमाधि से आहत होकर श्रीराम ने भी जल समाधि का निर्णय लिया। वो सरयू नदी के अंदर गए और भगवान विष्णु का अवतार ले लिया। इस तरह श्रीराम ने मानव शरीर त्याग दिया और बैकुंठ धाम चले गए।

How Lord Shri Ram died
Lord Shri Ram ruled the earth for more than 1000 years. In his long reign, Lord Rama did many such works which gave a glorious history to Hinduism. Pandit Prashant Mishra ji tells that according to Padmapuran, when Lord Ram came in the form of a sage after ending his incarnation, then Kaal i.e. Yamraj also came in the form of a sage and he urged to talk to Ram ji. Then Shri Ram told Kaal that no one should come between us.

At that time Lord Shri Ram told brother Laxman that he wants solitude and wants to have a conversation with Kaal, so you stand at the door so that no one can enter inside. In such a time, sage Durvasha came there and started requesting to meet Ram ji. Even after Laxman ji refused, the sage did not agree and started talking angrily. To avoid Durvasha's anger, Lakshmana entered the room where Shri Ram was conversing. Seeing this, Shri Ram also got angry on Laxman and instead of giving him the death penalty, he was expelled from the country. For Lakshman ji, that too was like death, so he merged into the Saryu river and took the form of Sheshnag. Hurt by his brother's water samadhi, Shriram also decided to take a water samadhi. He went inside the Saryu river and took the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. In this way Shri Ram left the human body and went to Vaikunth Dham.
