Navratri third day 2022: मां दुर्गा की तीसरी शक्ति का नाम चंद्रघंटा है। माथे पर आधा चाँद ही इनकी पहचान है। इसी अर्धचंद्र के कारण उन्हें चंद्रघंटा कहा जाता है। मां को राक्षसों का वध करने के लिए जाना जाता है।
ऐसा माना जाता है कि वह अपने भक्तों के दुखों को दूर करती हैं। इसलिए उनके हाथों में तलवार, त्रिशूल, गदा और धनुष है। इनके उद्गम का कारन धर्म की रक्षा करना और संसार से अंधकार को दूर करना था। ऐसा माना जाता है कि मां चंद्रघंटा की पूजा साधक को आध्यात्मिक शक्ति प्रदान करती है। दुर्गा सप्तशती का पाठ करने वाले को संसार में यश, कीर्ति और मान-सम्मान की प्राप्ति होती है। माता का रूप अत्यंत कोमल और शांति से परिपूर्ण है। अपने सिंह पर सवार माता का रूप यह सोने की तरह चमकता है। दस हाथों में कमल और कमंडल के अलावा शस्त्र हैं। अपने वाहन सिंह पर सवार माता का यह रूप दुष्टों से लड़ने और उनका नाश करने के लिए तैयार रहता है। चंद्रघंटा को वाणी की देवी भी कहा जाता है।

भक्तों को मां की पूजा में विशेष रूप से लाल रंग के फूल चढ़ाने चाहिए। फल में लाल सेब भी चढ़ाएं। भोग लगाते समय और मंत्र जाप करते समय मंदिर की घंटी जरूर बजाएं, क्योंकि मां चंद्रघंटा की पूजा में घंटी का बहुत महत्व होता है।

ऐसा माना जाता है कि मां चंद्रघंटा हमेशा अपने भक्तों पर घंटी की आवाज से अपनी कृपा बरसाती हैं। मां को दूध और उससे बनी चीजें चढ़ाएं। पूजा के बाद भी दान-पुण्य की जाती है। मखाने की खीर का भोग लगाना बहुत अच्छा माना जाता है, क्योंकि ऐसा करने से माता प्रसन्न होती है और दुखों का नाश करती है।
